Living the Dream

Lakeshore Village Condominium Association is located on the shores of beautiful Lake Hopatcong in western New Jersey. This transitional area provides a refreshing balance between the hectic bustle of the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area and the  tranquility of New Jersey’s Lake and rural farming communities. Lakeshore Village offers homeowners the very best of both worlds.

Lake Hopatcong offers a rich, one hundred year history as a major tourist destination.  Lakeshore Village is outstandingly situated on Lake Hopatcong on the former grounds of the famous Bertrand Island Amusement Park.   Lakeshore Village is truly located in the very heart of a scenic and thriving area.

The Homeowner Experience

Lakeshore Village is an active community of eighty elegant three level townhouses.  There are  three spacious models and sizes to choose from: Arlington (2650 sf), Bertrand (2875 sf), and Catamaran (3150 sf). Each townhouse offers three bedrooms and four baths, a formal dining room, and a lower level great room.  Some units are equipped with elevators.  Units also have large upper and lower decks,  which are for outdoor entertaining, as well as  oversize double garages with large driveways.

Homeowners are just steps away from their private deeded dock in the private LSV ninety eight dock marina, one of the largest in New York and New Jersey. Modern floating aluminum docks provide the ultimate ease and convenience for getting in and out of your boat.

Twenty five acres of beautifully landscaped property provides ample area for numerous amenities, including a large pool overlooking the lake, an elegant clubhouse with lounge, a large meeting room, and private gym. A multi-use outdoor recreational court providing homeowners and guests with tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard, basketball and volleyball. There is also a private enclosed Dog Park, allowing pets (large and small) to run free.  

An association of 80 families and approximately160 active individuals makes for a close knit community.  Community participation is encouraged, and homeowners are always welcome to join one of the HOA (Home Ownership Association) committees or even take the lead and starting a new one. 

Luxury Living on Lake Hopatcong

Located in the center of Lake Hopatcong’s four square miles of spring fed water, homeowners live a lifestyle of boating, sailing, water skiing/wake boarding, swimming and other aquatic sports.

Numerous waterfront restaurants provide ‘boat in’ or drive in dining, with a wide range of dining cuisine, price ranges, dining experiences and year round entertainment.

In addition to the Garden State and Lake Forest yacht clubs, sailors delight at Lakeshore Village’s immediate proximity to The Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club, New Jersey’s oldest, which boasts an outstanding inventory of Lightening sailboats,  beautiful dining facilities, and sponsors numerous seasonal regattas.   Their annual hosting of the “Antique & Classic Boat Club” competition and exhibition attracts many visitors.

Lake Hopatcong is a fisherman’s year round paradise with more than 16 varieties of fish, including the rare and spectacular Muskie known for its size and elusiveness. In conjunction with the KneeDeep Fishing Club, the NJ DEP stocks several thousand fingerlings each spring to supplement the lake’s already massive fish population. The Lakeshore Village private boat ramp allows homeowners to easily get their boats in and out of the water.

Home to largest wakeboard event in the northeast, the “NJ WakeOff” brings top talent from around the United States each August. Closely followed by the Hopatcong Grand Prix, in conjunction with the Offshore Powerboat Association, they provide an exciting weekend of powerboat racing.

Seasonal Living at Lakeshore Village

Lakeshore Village and its surrounding areas offer homeowners a true four season lifestyle, with numerous downhill and cross country ski resorts along with a wide range of both public and private golf courses.

For hikers and bikers, there are more than twenty-five trails of varying length and levels, including 70 miles of the famous Appalachian Trail less than an hour away.

Whether you enjoy gathering strawberries in the summer, or  prefer picking pumpkins, apples and hayrides in the brisk fall air, grownups and children of all ages enjoy activities at the many local farms,  enjoy various petting zoos, and experience life in the country.  

Avid sports fans love the close proximity to Newark’s Prudential Center, Meadowlands Metlife Stadium, Rutgers, Seton Hall and other sporting venues making Lakeshore Village an ideal location to see everyone’s favorite professional and college sports teams. 

Cultural venues abound, with short drives to the NJ PAC Center in Newark, and New York City’s Broadway theater, musical districts and dining. Another option is to drive to Weehawken and take the short ride to Midtown while enjoying a spectacular view of New York City .


For commuters, Lakeshore Village is a short five minute drive to Mt. Arlington’s beautiful NJ Transit train station, which offers ample free parking. Frequent train and bus schedules provide easy and relaxing commutes to New York City, Newark and areas in between.
